Grand Prairie, Texas. A new stage in the city begins with the creation of the new Grand Prairie Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, founded by Mary Dominguez since May 1, 2021, under the English name: “The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Grand Prairie” as registered on the Certificate of Formation with the Texas Secretary of State and the IRS as a 501c6 non-profit institution.
This is the result of the effort of a group of entrepreneurs, merchants and businessmen from this city who joined forces in order to create the new Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Grand Prairie, that allows minorities to have a strong voice before large corporations in the United States.
“The chamber of commerce will work in a professional and equitable manner with high standards of professional ethics, without favoritism or distinctions; each director is willing to share his best for the growth and success of each business,” said Dominguez.
The new organization started with the right foot to promote this sector of the population in Texas, so that they join the 4.4 million companies that allocate more than $700 Billion dollars to the U.S. economy.
“The purpose of -The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Grand Prairie- is to teach small and medium-sized companies how to work with banks, financial companies, starting from the beginning of your company with well-developed objectives and goals; but above all that they have their public objective and a written work plan,” said Mary Dominguez, founding member of the new Chamber.

In Grand Prairie there was no The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Grand Prairie “everyone is welcome, our organization is inclusive for the community. We have planned to open the offices called: -Incubators- are specific spaces for the merchant or businessman to have his office and from there he begins to work to serve his target audience,” explained Dominguez.
“This model of incubators began to be implemented in the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce and in Oak Cliff many years ago. We have that experience, we witnessed the birth of many companies that over time managed to get ahead,” Dominguez indicated.
Any initiative to start a business must have the appropriate resources, in order to use them wisely, with a vision and a prior market study plan. All in order to see the positive points and possible weaknesses of the business.
“We have three (3) spaces to start with the -Incubators- in the new Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Grand Prairie, which we will announce soon. In addition, we have the support of two (2) Banks, which are essential to start any economic activity”, Dominguez pointed out.
Possibilities of accessing the financial system through the Chamber
Two banks have already offered their support through MariFer Myers who is a BBVA Bank job solutions manager that works together with the community and provides support and awareness to each individual to improve the financial quality of life. She started in banking in 2012 and Maria Morales Vice President of Frost Bank Arlington, both have extensive business experience and will be willing to make alliances to bring forward new affiliates.

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Grand Prairie was founded on April 4, 2021 by Mary Dominguez who has extensive experience in finance, business development, government affairs and non-profit foundations. Mary Dominguez is a business owner and community leader in Grand Prairie. She has a strong background in business development, finance, and chamber relations. Creada la nueva Cámara de Comercio Hispana de Grand Prairie
Grand Prairie, Texas. Inicia una nueva etapa en la ciudad con la creación de la nueva Cámara de Comercio Hispana de Grand Prairie, fundada por Mary Domínguez desde el primero de mayo del 2021, bajo el nombre en inglés como: “The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Grand Prairie” como se encuentra registrado en el Certificado de Formación ante la Secretaria del Estado de Texas y el IRS como una institución sin fines de lucros 501c6.
Este es el resultado del esfuerzo de un grupo de emprendedores, comerciantes y empresarios de esta ciudad que unieron fuerzas con el fin de crear la nueva Cámara de Comercio Hispana de Grand Prairie que le permita tener a las minorías una voz fuerte ante las grandes corporaciones en los Estados Unidos.

En Grand Prairie no existía una Cámara de Comercio Hispana “todos son bienvenidos, nuestra organización es inclusiva para la comunidad. Tenemos planeado abrir las oficinas llamadas: -Incubadoras- son espacios concretos para que el comerciante o empresario tenga su oficina y desde allí empiece a funcionar para atender a su público objetivo” explico Domínguez.
“Este modelo de las incubadoras, se empezó a implementar en la Cámara de Comercio de Dallas y en Oak Cliff hace muchos años atrás. Tenemos esa experiencia, fuimos testigos del nacimiento de muchas empresas que `con el tiempo lograron salir adelante” indicó Domínguez.
Cualquier iniciativa para comenzar un negocio, tiene que contar con los recursos adecuados, con el fin de usarlos de manera inteligente, con una visión y un plan de estudio de mercado previo. Todo con el fin de ver los puntos positivos y las posibles debilidades del negocio.
“Tenemos tres (3) espacios para empezar con las -Incubadoras- en la nueva Cámara de Comercio Hispana de Grand Prairie, que pronto daremos a conocer.
